Florida Afterburn returns November 13–15, 2026, at Camp La Llanada in Lake Wales, and the 2026 Burn Guide is ready to help you explore what participants are bringing.
This is your who, what, where, and when for the weekend’s programming: camp events, workshops, music, food offerings, interactive art, and things you can wander into along the way.

Start with pancakes or espresso and karaoke, then see where the day takes you. Bring your textile project to Stitch and Bitch, try decorative mending, join a consent workshop, or settle in for tea and a deliberately questionable reading.
Later, there are yard games, a masquerade, an afternoon 80s jam, a drum and dance circle, and dance floors to discover. Hungry after the Effigy? Look for grilled cheese and boozy hot chocolate offerings.
You’ll also find activities available throughout the weekend, from kandi and collaborative weaving to a rolling light-up art experience. Some offerings have scheduled hours; others happen when the camp is ready and the mood strikes.
The guide includes an art directory to help you discover installations across the property. Add a hope or goal to The Constellation of Tomorrow, explore From Rebirth to transcenDANCE, or consider the consent questions at the Transcendental Photo Booth.
Use the placement map alongside the Burn Guide to find your way:

Save the Burn Guide to your phone before arriving so you can refer to it throughout the weekend.
Times are local and may shift. Check with camps for updates, and remember that “until gone” means exactly that.
The Effigy burn is planned for Saturday evening, subject to weather and fire safety clearance. The silent, reflective Temple burn is planned for Sunday evening. Exact times are still to be announced.
Sanctuary is a dedicated participant support space where you can catch your breath, sit quietly, talk, or regroup without pressure to explain yourself.
Sanctuary will be open Friday and Saturday from 6 PM until 3 AM the following morning, and Sunday from 6 PM until midnight.
Every offering in this guide starts with someone deciding to contribute. You can be part of that, too.

Bring your own cup, ask before touching people or art, get consent before photographing, and pack out what you bring in.
Take a look through the guide, send it to your campmates, and find something you’re excited to try.
See you at the burn!
