Dear Burnt Oranges Community,

It’s with a heavy heart that the Burnt Oranges Board of Directors has to inform you that we will not be having AfterBurn 2024 due to events that are beyond our control. Three of our talented, experienced board members had to resign — two in the last week — due to significant (and some serious) life changes (they happen to all of us), and the remaining members are stretched too thin to follow through with the event.

We understand that this is a disappointment to you as much as it is to us, and ask for your grace as we try and right the ship. Please know we did the best we could with what we had but didn’t feel comfortable moving forward (and selling tickets) without a full board and robust plan in place.

While we’re looking into the possibility of pivoting to Pre-Heat 2024, we need members of our community to step up and join the Burnt Oranges Board of Directors for that to happen. If you’re interested, please email me at board@burntoranges.org and we can discuss next steps.
