Gabriel Rothblatt, playa profile “Swami G”, has been an active participant in the Burning Man community since their first burn “I Robot” in 2018. First serving as a Ranger at Love Burn in 2019, Swami G, is a Green Dot Ranger at Black Rock City, implementing “radical chillness” to de-escalate, helping to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all. 

Beyond their ranger duties, Swami G has been a dedicated volunteer on the planning committee for Burnt Oranges, was a Pear Member, contributing to the community’s growth and sustainability. Swamig G has attended every post-COVID PreHeat and AfterBurn, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to the regional burner community. With a broad and diverse background in non-profit governance and small business operations, Swami G offers a wealth of experience and insight to the community, bridging his professional expertise with his passion for the values and culture of Burning Man.

Fun Fact: Gabriel was a 2014 candidate for US Congress.
